Official Statement from the Show Me Saint Louis Classic Invitational Bowling Tournament
We sincerely apologize to all participants and supporters for the unfortunate situation that has occurred in regard to the delayed payout.
It has come to our attention that the tournament’s treasurer allegedly misappropriated funds and is no longer associated with the Show Me Saint Louis Classic Invitational Bowling Tournament and its committee.
We recommend that bowlers do not contact the previous treasurer moving forward for any tournament related matters. This is a serious breach of trust, and we deeply regret the impact it has on our bowlers and community.
Please know that we are actively exploring every viable option, including criminal legal actions and sanctions, to recover the funds and ensure that all bowlers receive their payouts as quickly as possible. We understand how disappointing and frustrating this is, and we are committed to making things right.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work through this challenge. Your support means everything to us, and we deeply appreciate your trust during this challenging time. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.
